Meet Maureen Bigger

Maureen Bigger, CFP® has rich experience in helping people to plan their financial futures and to right-size their insurances.

Maureen will start the conversation asking you what your goals and needs are. Then she will do an assessment of those needs to determine the best course of action.

That course of action might be an achievable financial plan or the purchase of insurance to protect you, your family and potentially your business.

She is known for her ability to educate her clients about how to plan for their future, and for their family’s future. She is well versed and has over 20 years of experience with every type of insurance, from the simplest of personal plans to complex, multi-part corporate packages.

Maureen is connected to many insurance companies and wholesalers which allow her to provide her clients choices they may not normally have access to.

An active member in the local community, Maureen has served as board member and co-chair of the Mentor Protégé Committee for Women in Technology, is a member of the Executive Women’s Board of the City Club of Washington, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the Capital Society. She is also a founding member of the Business Resource Advisory Group and the DC Dynamos.

Maureen earned a B.S. degree in Finance from George Mason University. A native Californian, Ms. Bigger moved to Virginia in 1994. She and her husband, John, live in Alexandria with their Labrador retriever. She is an avid reader, enjoys sailing and needlework, and attempts the occasional game of golf.
